Granite Power’s vision and business is focused on low-to-medium temperature, low cost, zero carbon energy and associated activities including:

  •  Heat conversion technology development – known as “GRANEX®” – for application to power generation opportunities involving the moderate temperature heat resources from:

o                    Recovered Waste Heat (RWH)

o                    Conventional Geothermal (CG) sources

o                    Engineered Geothermal Systems (EGS), including Hot Sedimentary Aquifers (HSA)

o                    Solar-Thermal (ST) sources

  • Zero carbon power station development, as a project and technology developer, an owner and as the operator for other owners.

GRANEX®, the Company’s primary focus, offers up to a 40 - 50% improvement in net electricity able to be generated from a given heat resource.

GRANEX® provides a compelling case for the commercial merits of recovery of waste heat - a case that is not associated with alternative, traditional technologies, thereby opening up a vast new market for power generation.
